Crystal Plati is the founder and principal of The CP Factor, a consulting practice she launched in 2012 after a distinguished career in nonprofit leadership and national advocacy. With more than 30 years of experience, she advises leaders, organizations, foundations and campaigns navigating complex moments of change.
Early in her career, Crystal was recruited to lead a national youth initiative, where she transformed it into a nationally recognized, multi-racial youth-led organization shaping conversations and strategy in reproductive health, rights and justice at the national level. She went on to serve in executive director and senior campaign leadership roles at prominent national organizations.
Today, Crystal works with clients at critical inflection points including leadership transitions, periods of rapid growth, crisis, or strategic repositioning. Her approach combines sharp clarity with practical implementation, helping organizations align leadership, strengthen internal systems, and move forward with focus and confidence.
She is particularly known for her ability to guide organizations through transitions, ensuring that strategy, structure, and culture are aligned to support long-term effectiveness and resilience.
