Trust-Based Philanthropy 101

  • Eastern Time Zone (map)

Are you new to trust-based philanthropy? Are you curious about what it is, what it looks like, and how to implement it? Would you like to engage with fellow grantmaking colleagues in the same position in a small-group setting? Join The Trust-Based Philanthropy Project for TBP 101.

This interactive small-group program will allow participants to gain a deeper understanding of trust-based philanthropy — as a project, a philosophy, and in practice. Participants will identify ways to begin their trust-based journey, and will get hands-on guidance from staff and peers on ways to progress. This session will be a general overview on trust-based concepts, with actionable steps to take to dig deeper into the work.

Who should attend: This session is designed for grantmakers that are new to the concept, ethos, and practices of trust-based philanthropy. This is a small-group session and will be limited to 30 participants.
